Soda Stereo was a rock power trio formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1982. Consisting of guitarist and vocalist Gustavo Cerati, bassist Zeta Bosio and drummer Charly Alberti, the band established what would become the template for many other popular Spanish-speaking pop and rock music groups: Clever, often mysterious lyrics, pleasing musical arrangements and an elaborate and glamorous aesthetic image.
Sueño Stereo became their 2nd (if not the third album) in which many songs on the album used samples such us "Efecto doppler" using the same dumming and melody from an Echo and the Bunnymen track "all my colours". Although the songs were partially sampled to create atmosphere such us "Sweet sauhmerio" in Dynamo. The booklet gives footnotes of all the samples that were used in the songs.
Soda Stereo was an Argentine rock band created in Buenos Aires in 1982 by the power trio made up of Gustavo Cerati (lead vocals, guitars), Héctor "Zeta" Bosio (bass), and Charly Alberti (drums). They are considered one of the most influential and important Latin American bands of all time and a legend of Latin music.
Soda Stereo's final studio long-player, Sueño Stereo helped the band regain public attention after the multi-year gap between Dynamo (a commercial failure) and the release of this album at the end of June 1995. Three hits came from the record: "Ella Usó Mi Cabeza Como un Revólver," "Paseando por Roma," and especially "Zoom. The album was the band's most melancholic, and included the beautiful "Efecto Doppler," which contained drum samples from Echo & the Bunnymen's "All My Colours.
