This Note's for You is the 16th studio album by Canadian musician Neil Young, released on April 11, 1988 on Reprise. Part of the album's concept centered on the commercialism of rock and roll, and tours in particular. The music is marked by the use of a horn section.
20 years after his debut album as a solo artist Neil came across with a very good rhythm'n'blues album. His clean guitar sound and the fantastic horn section brings this album much closer to any STAX soul album than to the complete rest of his discography. A surprisingly good album.
