Those who bought Stargard because of "Which Way Is Up" found the rest of the album to be quite solid; the threesome brings as much conviction to exuberant, up-tempo numbers like "Smile" and "Disco Rufus" as it does to the ballads "Love Is So Easy" and "Don't Change. Surprisingly, "Which Way Is Up" turned out to be the album's only major hit.

During 1978 Stargard also released their sophomore album entitled What You Waitin' For. Off of this album its title track went on to be a Top 10 R&B hit. The group then switched to Warner Bros. Records upon which their third LP The Changing Of The Gard was issued in 1979. The album cut "Wear It Out" was co-produced by Verdine White of Earth, Wind, & Fire. As a single Wear It Out rose to no. 4 upon the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. Anderson went on to leave Stargard shortly after The Changing of the Gards issue. They thereafter returned to MCA upon which their fifth LP Nine Lives was issued in 1982. Media appearances Discography.

True Love Waits" is a song by the English alternative rock band Radiohead. Radiohead first performed it in 1995, and singer Thom Yorke performed it solo on acoustic guitar or Rhodes piano in the following years. The band and producer Nigel Godrich attempted to record the song for the albums OK Computer (1997), Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001), but could not settle on an arrangement, and it became one of their best-known unreleased songs.
