Would You Believe? is an album by the Hollies, released in 1966. Overview - The album features a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's "I Am a Rock," which displayed a progression for the band at the time with the rise of folk rock. However, Would You Believe also features covers of Buddy Holly's. As a result of sales of stereo copies of the bands debut album in the UK. The stereo mix was released in the UK and retitled The Vintage Hollies in 1967. In 1997, British EMI put both mono and stereo versions of this album onto a single CD, recording for the album commenced on 13 April 1964 when the band recorded the tracks Time for Love and Dont You Know.

But every Hollies album of the '60s has some strong overlooked tracks. On this one, they're the surprisingly tough folk-rockers "Hard, Hard Year" and "I've Got a Way of My Ow. The ultra-catchy "Don't You Even Care," written by Clint Ballard, Jr. (also responsible for their number one British hit "I'm Alive," as well as "The Game of Love" and "You're No Good"), is the real obscure gem here and could have well been a hit under its own steam
