Stanley Robert Vinton Jr. (born April 16, 1935), known professionally as Bobby Vinton, is an American singer and songwriter who also briefly appeared in films. In pop music circles, he became known as "The Polish Prince", as his music pays tribute to his Polish heritage. His most popular song was "Blue Velvet", a cover of Tony Bennett's 1951 song, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1963 and number two in the UK in 1990. It also served as inspiration for the film of the same name.

Blessed with a warm, inviting voice and attractively louche stage presence, Bublé is a 21st century Bobby Darin; a mutable lounge act who knows when to swing, when to play it straight, and when to pepper a lyric with just enough tongue-in-cheek to let the hipsters know that you smell the cheese too. It's a multi-layered skill set that's helped him achieve a level of mainstream success on par with that of his more pop-oriented peers. Not surprisingly, he keeps the dance going with his slick, superbly executed ninth studio album, 2016's Nobody But Me.

Produced by Bob Morgan. Album Roses Are Red. Mr. Lonely Lyrics. Lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely I have nobody for my own I am so lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely Wish I had someone to call on the phone Now I'm a soldier, a lonely soldier Away from home through no wish of my own That's why I'm lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely I wish that I could go back home. Letters, never a letter I get no letters in the mail I've been forgotten, yes, forgotten Oh how I wonder, how is it I failed Now I'm a soldier, a lonely soldier Away from home through no wish of my own That's.

Mr Bobby Vinton Legend. Iconic Legendary 1960's Pop Love Songs Male Vocalist and Song Writer. Vinton continued playing in supper clubs until 1968, when a policy of revamping hits by old rivals put his arrangements of Jimmy Crawford’s ‘I Love How You Love Me’, Bobby Vee’s ‘Take Good Care Of My Baby and the Teddy Bears’ retitled ‘To Know Her Is To Love Her’ high up the Hot 100. This formula worked again in 1972 with Brian Hyland’s ‘Sealed With A Kiss’, but it was 1974’s ‘My Melody Of Love’, a new song co-written by Vinton himself, that gave him one more US chart-topper. He also hosted his own television series during the mid-70s.
