Sandie Shaw (born 26 February 1947) is an English pop singer, who was one of the most successful British female singers of the 1960s. In 1967 she was the first British act to win the Eurovision Song Contest. She has been described as "the barefoot pop princess of the 1960s". Monsieur Dupont" is the twenty-first single by British singer Sandie Shaw. Originally sung by the German singer Manuela in 1967, Shaw's version became her last big hit of the 1960s. It reached number six in the UK Singles Chart in 1969, making it her eighth and final Top 10 hit single.
