Remember the Future is the fourth album from English progressive rock band Nektar. Much like their debut album Journey to the Centre of the Eye, it is a concept album which is formally divided into ten tracks but in fact consists of one continuous piece of music. Remember the Future was first released in 1973 by Bacillus (Bellaphon). The album was re-released in 1990 on LP and CD by Germany's Bellaphon. The mix used for this release was the LP mix that was rejected

Among Nektar fans, there are many who consider Remember the Future to be the band's creative peak. The album certainly creates the grounds for making that argument. Indeed, it is an ambitious work that is essentially one composition divided into two parts. The whole is performed in a very seamless and competent manner.

Nektar, "Remember the Future," reminds me of the first two Yes albums, as a matter of fact, I like "Remember the Future" better! It is more melodic, with its beautiful melodies, accented by the singing that is right on par with Yes on "Remeber the Future" Part 1 & 2; especially the gorgeous harmonies which float through my ears into my brain like white tufts of billowing fair weather clouds. This 1973 release is a very pleasant album of spacey, psychedelic rock with great melodies and a slightly symphonic prog feel. Regarded by many fans as their finest album, The Remember the Future suite (Part 1 16'40"; Part 2 18'58") is well arranged and there is some good individual and ensemble playing throughout.
