This song is by Dragons and appears on the album Here Are The Roses (2005). I'm sittingHalf nakedMy heart racingMy soul long deadAnd I'm tracingThe lineageBut I can't tellWhere it started. Here we start the dislocatedHung so far from what we'd dreamHammered down and resurrectedWe bear the scars of what we've beenNow the time of new beginningThough the past will never endBut you will never catch me thinkingIt can ever be the same.

Where Is The Love? Forever.

Here Be Dragons is a historical novel written by Sharon Kay Penman published in 1985. The novel is the first in a trilogy known as the Welsh Princes series set in medieval England, Wales and France that feature the Plantagenet kings. Penman is known for providing accurate descriptions of historical events and creating strong characterisations. Here Be Dragons is the first of Penman's trilogy about the medieval princes of Gwynedd and the monarchs of England.

The first phase of the Wars of the Roses was fought between Henry VI of Lancaster and Richard, Duke of York. At the Battle of St. Albans in 1455, Henry and his Lancastrian supporters were defeated by Richard. Queen Margaret fled to France and vowed to bring back French mercenaries for her husband. Richard, Duke of York, died in battle. Richard’s son, Edward, was declared to be Richard’s successor. The second phase of the Wars of the Roses was fought between Henry VI of Lancaster and Edward IV of York. Henry defeated the Yorkist army at the second Battle of St. Albans in 1461. Later that year, at the Battle of Towton, Edward slaughtered the Lancastrian army during a blinding snow storm.
