The Platters are an American vocal group formed in 1952. They were one of the most successful vocal groups of the early rock and roll era. Their distinctive sound was a bridge between the pre-rock Tin Pan Alley tradition and the burgeoning new genre. The act went through several personnel changes, with the most successful incarnation comprising lead tenor Tony Williams, David Lynch, Paul Robi, Herb Reed, and Zola Taylor
Published in 1929, The Sound and the Fury was Faulkner's fourth novel, and was not immediately successful. In 1931, however, when Faulkner's sixth novel, Sanctuary, was published-a sensationalist story, which Faulkner later claimed was written only for money-The Sound and the Fury also became commercially successful, and Faulkner began to receive critical attention. Absalom, Absalom! (1936) is often included on similar lists.
Sound & Fury is the second studio album released by the American punk rock band Youth Brigade. Released in 1983, it followed a 1982 album of the same name. The album was released on CD as the first half of the 1994 compilation, Sink With Kalifornija. In July 1982, Youth Brigade recorded their debut album entitled Sound & Fury Mixed by Ira Malek
