The Three Sounds song "Put On Train", from the 1971 Gene Harris album The 3 Sounds was featured as the prominent background sample in the hip-hop group Beastie Boys song "What Comes Around" on their 1989 album Paul's Boutique. It previously stated here that this sample came from the Three Sounds album Live at the It Club, recorded in 1970, however this was not released (on Live at the It Club Vol. 2) until 2000. 1958: Introducing the 3 Sounds (Blue Note). 1958: Introducing the 3 Sounds Vol. 2 (Blue Note)  . 1960: It Just Got to Be (Blue Note). 1960: Blue Hour (Blue Note) with Stanley Turrentine. 1961: Here We Come (Blue Note).

Feelin' Good is an album by jazz group The Three Sounds featuring performances recorded in 1960 and released on the Blue Note label. It was released on CD only in Japan. The text refers to The Three and The Thirty as though they were both important entities, and not just an arbitrary list of three or 30-plus significant men. Some textual scholars regard the passages referring to The Three and The Thirty as having come from either a source distinct to the main sources in the Books of Samuel, or being otherwise out of place.

The album is the explanation, and it's up to you to make sure what you want of it. There is no theme to Abbey Road. Recorded over nine years from 1956 - 1965, the album still sounds as crisp and fresh as ever. Decca pioneered the idea that LPs could record grand works, and with hundreds of releases of the Nibelung cycle since, it seems they proved themselves right.
