No such orchestra exists, except as "pickup" orchestra, existing only for the purposes of ad-hoc recording - note the English name. Variations: Viewing All The Vienna Orchestra. Teresa Stich-Randall, Mozart - The Vienna Orchestra : László Somogyi - Teresa Stich-Randall Sings Mozart Arias (Album).

Teresa Stich-Randall (December 24, 1927 – July 17, 2007) was a European-based American soprano opera singer. Teresa Stich-Randall was born in New Hartford, Connecticut in 1927 and studied at Hartford School of Music in Hartford under Ivan Velikanoff. Her operatic debut was in the role of Henrietta M. in Virgil Thomson's The Mother of Us All in 1947 and she sang the title role in Otto Luening's Evangeline in 1948.

Teresa Stich-Randall’s name makes it onto my list of singers without hesitation along with others including Maria Callas. Were I pushed to do so I would opt for Stich-Randall in preference to Callas for the reason that her art seems less prone to intervene between music and listener. She sings it with a sense of the eternal. Maurice André contributes his near constant trumpet part in ‘Jauchzet Gott in allen landen’ with enthusiasm and his tone works well against Stich-Randall’s voice. A good reminder of tenor Ernst Haefliger in his prime under a young Lorin Maazel is afforded by an extract from the B minor Mass. What of Stich-Randall’s operatic Mozart though? Just a single aria from Così represents it (well, I might add); nevertheless it is a pity not to anything of the Figaro’s Countess, Giovanni’s Donna Anna (illustrated in the booklet), Magic Flute’s Pamina, Idomeneo’s Ilia or Entführung’s Konstanze.

Teresa Stich-Randall, Maureen Forrester, Alexander Young, John Boyden, Martin Isepp, Vienna Radio Orchestra, Brian Priestman Recitativo: "Che miro? Amica sorte. Ecco ti innanzi il reo".

The rare out-of-print Le Chant du Monde compact disc of the great soprano Teresa Stich-Randall singing the Bach wedding Cantata Weichet nur betrubte schatten (Cantate du mariage) BWV 202, and Cantata BWV 209 Non sa chi sia dolore (Cantate italienne). She is accompanied by the Orchestre de la Sarre under Karl Ristenpart, and recorded live at the Besancon festival, 9/3/60.
