Produced by Kurt Ballou. Album You Will Never Be One of Us. You Will Never Be One of Us Lyrics. No truth All lies Disgrace We are not the same. Fuck your trends, fuck your friends Fuck your groupies that try to pretend that you're down You're fucking not Nobody wants what you've fucking got. You will never be one of us. Our pain, not your pain Our pride, not your pride. No truth, no trust You will never be one of us Soaked in disgust You will never be one of us. Not for you to claim We are not the same
Nails have made one of the best albums of 2016. Since this is only June, I won’t declare it album of the year quite yet, but it’s going to be very hard to argue against it. As an emerging act in 2011, they left me so impressed at that year’s New England Metal and Hardcore Fest that I had a literal shut up and take my money moment (I bought a t-shirt). Unsilent Death was an excellent, no-nonsense debut, and Abandon All Life took that style and honed it down to a recognizable signature sound. And as great as those bands are, You Will Never Be One of Us catapults Nails into top-tier metal and hardcore status. Whereas Black Breath chose to leave the hardcore side of their sound behind with their recent album, Nails retains this edge with circle-pit and fist-throwing sections blended in seamlessly with the mix of death metal and grindcore.
Anyone else get a version of this record with the side B sticker on both sides? Otherwise it looks to be from the same batch as this pressing. Responder Notifique-me Helpful. Adicionar a Coleção Adicionar à Lista de Desejos Remover da Lista de Desejos. Mercado 0 21 À Venda por € 11,57.
The rest of You Will Never Be One of Us closely mirrors Nails' previous offerings, delivering forehead-melting blastbeats, whammy bar-induced audio grand mal seizures, and lyrics that target the sickly sweet spot between apoplectic and hopeless. In short, it's another vital and punishing set of high-caliber hardcore ragers that celebrate the worst that humanity has to offer. It's also the group's most polished - if shiny razors are your thing - effort to date, due in large part to some pithy production work from Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou.
Nails’ new album, You Will Never Be One of Us, comes out tomorrow on Nuclear Blast - but you can stream it right now, below, thanks to The Independent. Since MetalSucks and every other metal media outlet in the world have been falling all over ourselves to praise this album for a while now, I assume you need no further motivation to hit play. But in case you do: the whole album is like twenty minutes long. Surely, even the most ADHD amongst us can give this bad boy a shot.
There’s a lot of hype building up to You Will Never Be One of Us, the third full-length by Southern Californian powerviolence trio Nails. Known for being unrelenting in their seething anger, both 2010’s Unsilent Death and 2013’s cataclysmic Abandon All Life garnered the trio an army of loyal followers, and rightfully so. There’s no fluff, no compromise, and no bullshit when it comes to their militaristic approach
