Spokenest Los Angeles, California. Lo-fi, DIY, crunchy punk. The Memphis band conjure the claustrophobic creepiness of the classic horror tale The Yellow Wallpaper on their latest. Bandcamp Album of the Day May 16, 2019. The Recruitment Drive EP by Squiggles. A raucous rock single from the UK group Squiggles with hurtling guitars and throat-busting, shout-along vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable May 14, 2019. Age Hasn't Spoiled You by Greys. Toronto punks sound like they’re ready to leave the circle pit behind for good. Bandcamp Album of the Day May 13, 2019.
Spokenest "We Move" - Recently unearthed early demos from these Danish pioneers of whisper-storm. Nine songs that are barely audible no matter how high you turn the volume. Halfway through the first song you start to feel nauseous, then your eyes start to feel hot. By the time you start side b you're vomiting blood, you can't feel your fingers or toes, and your vision is blurred. If you can make through the whole album in one sitting you will suffer permanent nerve damage. This is less music and more a competition with Satan.

Move is the debut album by The Move, released on the Regal Zonophone label. The only one which was recorded by the group’s initial line-up before bassist Ace Kefford left, it includes both sides of their third and fourth singles ("Flowers in the Rain" and "Fire Brigade"). Flowers in the Rain" was the first ever song played on Radio 1 in September 1967 by Tony Blackburn.
