The force behind Oubys is Wannes Kolf. Kolf's music is made with live improvisations, electronic treatment and field recordings. Paths' (released on U-Cover CDR Limited) is Oubys& debut album and is influenced by early kraut legends such as Faust, Can and enigmatic ambient guru Brian Eno. His music has a nice sense of subterranean depth and a pulsating progression. In 2009 Surrender (a 3 CDR).
