Michael Jackson should have sang the whole 2008 version himself. It should be Akon ft. Michael Jackson, the titled be misleadin. Personally I think Wanna be starting something 2008 is quite a fresh and new perspective to MJ's popping tune. It blends greatly with the soul of the song, and Akon's vocals suit the song perfectly. Unlike the Girl Is Mine, which is a poor mix of Michael's recordings with a poorly constructed generic beat. The vocals and the tuneless beat dont even match!
